The Hard Aches. I Saw The Future. 2023.
One of the hardest briefs I've ever had. Include photos and references from the 2019 bushfires (Black Summer) that decimated Australia. But have it still visually look positive. Using photos from band members' friends' farms, combined with photos of Australian flora, and coloured paper I burnt the edges of I created a collage combining all elements and a lot of colour. Keeping in line with the natural themes I used collage, embroidery, and hand-drawn type to create a cohesive aesthetic.
